Yeah it can be tough to stay up on the ever-expanding sea of knowledge as we get older. At 58 and now freelance writing full time, I’m extremely happy to be off the corporate treadmill and, while I assume I’m out of touch on some aspects of my job, I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve that took decades to develop and which younger writers will learn only with time.
