This article published prior to the mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. Given these events and the discussions that will follow, I looked into American Views on Gun Policy. Bottom line: Left and right largely agree on tightening certain laws, yet there are notable partisan and gender gaps.
