There's no name for the type of yoga I do. I mix it up by learning from different online instructors, incorporating what feels best for me. Almost every day (and always before a run) I do at least 20-30 minutes, usually self-directed, mostly basic poses and a lot of stretching, holding positions for 10-20 seconds instead of flowing rapidly through them. Once or twice a week, typically on a day when I don't run or bike, I do a longer session, sometimes following an online instructor, and incorporate more difficult poses and brush up on the techniques. I'm also prone to doing mini-sessions in front of the TV or while waiting in line or anytime I'm just standing around — a habit that makes me the butt of family jokes.
