The good news for you is that waking up once during the night to pee is normal. But like you, I'm rather doomed if the waking happens after about 4 a.m. and especially in summer if dawn is cracking, partly because by then I've usually gotten a good solid 6 or 7 hours. As Grace Seidel mentioned, what matters most is whether you're getting sufficient sleep by that time. If not, you might try nixing all food and beverage for 3 hours prior to bedtime.
