The book includes a chapter on whether psychedelics, cannabis and/or supplements can benefit sleep. Cannabis seems to help with chronic pain and anxiety, either of which that can negatively affect sleep, but there's a strong tendency for increased tolerance to lessen the benefit. Whether cannabis is directly good for sleep is not certain, the research indicates, despite lots of conjecture, and there's some evidence that it's actually bad for sleep.
