Thanks for your thoughts. I did not mean to contribute any hyperbole to the topic, so I appreciate hearing how it sounded to you. It’s complex, for sure, and my hope was that the article would illuminate some of the complexities, that even as prescriptions are rising, antidepressants often do not work, and while they can also be invaluable for other people, too often the paths of treatment aren’t properly individualized.
