Thanks for asking, Jenni. My blood pressure settled down to a reasonable range. Still something to keep an eye on, but I feel good about the changes I’ve made. And yes, sleep is a HUGE factor in overall health, and getting too little or fragmented, poor sleep has a direct connection to higher blood pressure. My new book on sleep (out Nov. 1) delves into this a lot. Meanwhile, anything you can do to improve your sleep quality and duration (reducing alcohol intake is a great start) will be good for your blood pressure, overall health, and your mood, energy and alterness during the day.
