Screen time can be a factor in making it harder to fall asleep and reducing sleep quality. I've spoken with several sleep experts about this, and looked at the studies, and it's not as much of a slam dunk as we might think. What we're doing on the screens may matter as much, or more, as the light that emanates. But overall, less light at night is very good for sleep. As is less social media, and less work email. So, yes, you are correct.
