Respectfully, you may be missing the point of the science I've reported on here. The research shows that whole foods are the better way to get the vitamins and minerals that most people need (and yes, there are exceptions, as the article notes). Most people, if they have access to fruits, vegetables and other whole foods yet lean on vitamins or supplements instead, they're wasting their money *and* likely not getting all the nutrients they need. Anyone with specific health problems or deficiencies, or otherwise with questions about this, should consult a dietician or other healthcare provider for advice related to their specific situation. But most people, the scientists and doctors say, should focus on eating real food. I hope that helps clarify the intent of the research and my reporting.
