Respectfully, I stated clearly that this study "does not prove cause and effect." But it fits with overwhelming evidence from many, many studies that high-quality, sufficient-duration sleep improves a person's chances of living a longer, healthier life. I see no reason not to make that the headline. If you have evidence to the contrary, or that dents the claim, please share it. I always aim to give readers a balanced look at what the science says and am always open to opposing views and evolving consensus.
