I'm going with the consensus here. Most dietitians and other experts agree that chicken, fish and eggs have great nutritional value and can be part of a healthy diet, adding that some moderation is typically wise on animal products, and that if you don't like any of those, or are vegetarian or vegan, or have special dietary needs, there are plenty of plant-based alternatives. But when people say any of those three are not good for us, or that they should never be part of anyone's diet, they're often citing certain data and ignoring other data, or they're just stating an opinion that's not driven by science. All that said, the science of nutrition is constantly changing, which is why I advocate for not stressing about it all too much. If you don't have a health condition that dictates otherwise, at a variety of things that are healthy and delicious and which agree well with your GI tract, and spend you worry time on other aspects of life.
