I’m generally with you and I don’t like using the phrase if it can be avoided. But when “experts agree,” that by my definition means, literally, every expert I spoke to or whose research I reviewed agreed. No one study can serve as a link. But I appreciate your vigilance on this vague term, and will work harder than ever to avoid it.
